Ciao ragazzi, presentate la band ai lettori del nostro sito.

Gli Stato A sono: Emanuele(basso),Dino(batteria),Matteo(chitarra elettrica)Dany(tastiere)e Roberto(voce).Cinque ragazzi formati nel tempo,e si, perché la formazione attuale è arrivata nel 2002/03 dopo un po’ di cambiamenti, come succede per molte band…

Sappiamo che a breve uscirà una nuova importante pubblicazione per gli Stato A, svelateci qualcosa in anteprima.

Stiamo lavorando su un idea che possa racchiudere tante sensazioni vissute insieme in questi anni. In più c’è la volontà di metabolizzare anche quello che di meglio è cambiato dal punto di vista del suono,cosi come nuove elaborazioni di testi. Comunque aspettiamo e lavoriamo con fiducia, lavorando in studio si sa le idee possono cambiare sperando che ne arrivino di migliori…

Cosa pensate dell’ attuale scena indipendente italiana, vi sentite parte di essa?

La scena Indipendente è sempre di più una grande risorsa… crediamo che fare musica in un modo autonomo dia la possibilità a noi stessi di far nascere e raccogliere idee senza nessun tipo di pressione,e quindi stare fuori dai circuiti commerciali della grande discografia di questi tempi.

Ci sono alcuni gruppi a cui vi ispirate durante la fase compositiva?

Non ci sono gruppi in particolare,forse ci sono delle “aree” dove alcune band sono facilmente contestualizzabili. Classificare gli altri forse è più facile che farlo verso se stessi quindi se vogliamo “complicarci” un po’ la vita potremmo dire che ascoltiamo band come: marlene kuntz , afterhours ,subsonica ecc…

C’è un tema ricorrente nei vostri testi? A cosa vi ispirate per scriverli?

Non credo ad un tema ricorrente forse più a dei flash…Se penso a quello che diceva V.Rossi “le canzoni nascono già con le parole…” devo ammettere che questa frase mi ha sempre fatto riflettere .Quando ci si avventura a scrivere un pezzo anche non avendo una minima idea si può finire di scrivere una “bugia con l’anima” che alla fine a forza di suonarla e cantarla sembra vera.

Total Music Blog è sempre attento alle nuove realtà nell' ambito della musica indipendente. Freschi di contratto con Audio Ferox etichetta di P.G. (Edizioni musicali e discografiche), la band "The Laggers" si prepara alla pubblicazione del loro singolo d' esordio. Abbiamo scambiato quattro chiacchere con la band.

Ciao, presentate la band ai nostri lettori.
Salve a tutti noi siamo i Laggers, veniamo dalla provincia di Napoli e abbiamo iniziato il nostro progetto circa un anno e mezzo fa. Il numero di componenti della nostra band e cinque: voce( Raffaele Cerella) , due chitarre( Fabio Falco chitarra ritmica e Lino Salzano chitarra solista) , basso( Cristian Capasso) e batteria ( Daniele Varchetta).

Sappiamo che siete prossimi ad una nuova importante pubblicazione, diteci di più a riguardo.
Sì, siamo prossimi alla pubblicazione di due nostri brani che ci teniamo la gente ascoltasse con attenzione.I titoli dei brani sono “ I miei guai” e soprattutto “ Succo d’arancia” che è il pezzo che ci contraddistingue e che secondo noi è più efficace. Non facciamo particolari precisazioni perché vorremmo che il brano venisse ascoltato ed interpretato direttamente e senza premesse. Speriamo che piacciano…

Cosa pensate dell’ attuale scena indipendente italiana, vi sentite parte di essa?
Noi ci sentiamo assolutamente parte della scena indipendente di questo paese perché , come tutte le persone di cui ne fanno parte, affrontiamo le grandi difficoltà che si incontrano lungo questo cammino , mettiamo anima e corpo nella nostra arte e lavoriamo sodo per scalare più vette possibili. Soprattutto in questo campo , se non ti dai da fare non ti avvicini nemmeno ad un possibile traguardo.

Ci sono alcuni gruppi di riferimento a cui vi ispirate durante la fase compositiva?
Ma come diceva Vasco Rossi “ le canzoni nascono da sole” , è più che altro il modo di proporle che cambia. Noi non partiamo da un modello, preciso o vago che sia, per poi costruire qualcosa. Il nostro suono è il frutto dell’ascolto di tanta musica e istinto. Se proprio dobbiamo fare un nome, possiamo accostarci a gruppi come Negrita o Litfiba.

Qual è il tema ricorrente nei vostri testi, se esiste. A cosa vi ispirate per scriverli?
Il tema ricorrente dei nostri brani è senza dubbio la libertà. Libertà in tutte le sue forme , sia quella cercata nell’amore per le cose belle e pure , sia quella intesa come desiderio , come voglia di urlare e di farsi sentire. In un modo o nell’altro la base di tutto è quella.

Progetti per il 2011?
Abbiamo in programma di registrare qualche altro brano , in particolare “ La marcia dei pinguini “ che sarà la title track dell’album che stiamo realizzando e che speriamo possa uscire al più presto.
