Salve a tutti noi siamo i Laggers, veniamo dalla provincia di Napoli e abbiamo iniziato il nostro progetto circa un anno e mezzo fa. Il numero di componenti della nostra band e cinque: voce( Raffaele Cerella) , due chitarre( Fabio Falco chitarra ritmica e Lino Salzano chitarra solista) , basso( Cristian Capasso) e batteria ( Daniele Varchetta).

Sappiamo che siete prossimi ad una nuova importante pubblicazione, diteci di più a riguardo.
Sì, siamo prossimi alla pubblicazione di due nostri brani che ci teniamo la gente ascoltasse con attenzione.I titoli dei brani sono “ I miei guai” e soprattutto “ Succo d’arancia” che è il pezzo che ci contraddistingue e che secondo noi è più efficace. Non facciamo particolari precisazioni perché vorremmo che il brano venisse ascoltato ed interpretato direttamente e senza premesse. Speriamo che piacciano…

Cosa pensate dell’ attuale scena indipendente italiana, vi sentite parte di essa?
Noi ci sentiamo assolutamente parte della scena indipendente di questo paese perché , come tutte le persone di cui ne fanno parte, affrontiamo le grandi difficoltà che si incontrano lungo questo cammino , mettiamo anima e corpo nella nostra arte e lavoriamo sodo per scalare più vette possibili. Soprattutto in questo campo , se non ti dai da fare non ti avvicini nemmeno ad un possibile traguardo.

Ci sono alcuni gruppi di riferimento a cui vi ispirate durante la fase compositiva?
Ma come diceva Vasco Rossi “ le canzoni nascono da sole” , è più che altro il modo di proporle che cambia. Noi non partiamo da un modello, preciso o vago che sia, per poi costruire qualcosa. Il nostro suono è il frutto dell’ascolto di tanta musica e istinto. Se proprio dobbiamo fare un nome, possiamo accostarci a gruppi come Negrita o Litfiba.

Qual è il tema ricorrente nei vostri testi, se esiste. A cosa vi ispirate per scriverli?
Il tema ricorrente dei nostri brani è senza dubbio la libertà. Libertà in tutte le sue forme , sia quella cercata nell’amore per le cose belle e pure , sia quella intesa come desiderio , come voglia di urlare e di farsi sentire. In un modo o nell’altro la base di tutto è quella.

Progetti per il 2011?
Abbiamo in programma di registrare qualche altro brano , in particolare “ La marcia dei pinguini “ che sarà la title track dell’album che stiamo realizzando e che speriamo possa uscire al più presto.
